Barcelona have announced the departures of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo.

Joao Felix Initially joined FC Barcelona on loan from Atletico Madrid, while Joao Cancelo, his compatriot, joined from Manchester City on a similar loan deal.  Joao Felix featured in 44 matches across all competitions, where he scored 10 goals and contributed 6 assists for Barcelona.

Despite reports suggesting that New Head coach Hansi Flick was interested in retaining Felix, he will return to Atletico for now.

Cancelo’s exit was confirmed as well. Currently, Barcelona is not prepared to meet Manchester City’s valuation for the Portuguese International.

Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo represent Portugal at UEFA Euro 2024.

Additionally, former Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso will leave FC Barcelona upon the expiration of his contract. Barcelona finished 2nd in La Liga for the 2023-24 season.
