Julian Alvarez Seeks Exit from Manchester City This Summer
Julian Alvarez has reportedly expressed his desire to leave Manchester City this summer. According to The Sun, the Argentine forward has made his intentions known to the Premier League champions.
The Argentine forward scored 11 goals in 36 Premier League appearances last term to help Pep Guardiola’s side beat Arsenal to the title.
“Julian Alvarez has rocked Manchester City by asking to leave this summer, according to reports,” states the outlet.
“The former River Plate ace has now reportedly told the club he wants out.
“According to El Chiringuito, the Argentine forward rejected a new contract with the club at the end of last season.
“That deal would have seen him agree new and improved terms with a 1-year extension from his existing deal that would take him up to 2028.
“And he has demanded the English champions to set a ‘logical’ asking price for would-be buyers.”
