Manchester City’s Rodri played a crucial role in Spain’s unbeaten run. Despite being substituted at half-time in the final against England, likely due to an injury, his influence on the tournament remained undeniable. His exceptional performances in the midfield earned him the coveted Player of the Tournament award.
Missing the all-important final 45 minutes did his reputation no harm, however, as Rodri got his hands on the Best Player of the Tournament prize when all was said and done.
