Real Madrid Suffer Major Blow as Eduardo Camavinga Out Injured

Real Madrid have been dealt a significant setback with the news that midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will miss the start of the season due to a knee injury.

During a training session on Tuesday, the 21-year-old sustained a sprained internal collateral ligament in his left knee, just ahead of the UEFA Super Cup 2024 Final.

The injury is expected to keep Eduardo Camavinga sidelined for up to seven weeks, ruling him out of the Super Cup clash against Atalanta and potentially the opening matches of the LaLiga campaign.

Real Madrid kick off their title defense against Real Mallorca on Sunday and will have to navigate the early part of the season without the talented Frenchman.

The injury is a major blow for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as Eduardo Camavinga has been a key player for the club in recent seasons. His versatility and energy in midfield will be sorely missed.
