Argentine Star Praises Scaloni and Sabella, Critiques Van Gaal
Ángel Di María, the renowned Argentine footballer, has shared his thoughts on the best and worst coaches he’s worked with during his illustrious career.
In an interview with ESPN Argentina, the winger expressed his admiration for Lionel Scaloni and Alejandro Sabella, while also voicing his disappointment with Louis van Gaal.
“Ouf, it’s difficult… The first is undoubtedly Scaloni. He is a great coach in every sense. Because of the coaching staff he has, because of the connection he has with the players and the way he approaches the matches. He is perfect. He is one of the best. Then Alejandro (Sabella) is a coach who marked me a lot, I learned a lot with him.
“It’s difficult, I had many coaches. Mourinho, Ancelotti… I had so many good ones that it is difficult to choose. The worst is Van Gaal, that’s for sure. I’ve already told you that before.”
