Luis DÃaz’s header gave the Reds the lead in the first half, following an early VAR decision that went against them. DÃaz added his second goal of the match shortly after, showcasing Liverpool’s attacking prowess.
Diaz then doubled his tally seven minutes later with a low finish into the bottom corner after being picked out by a tricky pass from Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian scored in the twelfth stoppage time against United in the Premier League as Liverpool punished another mistake from the Red Devils midfield to add gloss to the scoreline.
With the triumph, Liverpool joined Manchester City as the only two teams with a perfect record after three games, while United entered the international break in 14th place with three points.
