Portugal Secures 3-1 Victory Over Poland in Nations League Clash
Portugal continued their flawless Nations League campaign with a commanding 3-1 win against Poland, thanks to first-half goals from Bernardo Silva and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The match saw Portugal take an early lead, with Ronaldo nearly scoring when he struck the underside of the crossbar, followed by Bruno Fernandes’ effort that was expertly saved. Silva opened the scoring in the 26th minute, volleying home after Fernandes nodded the ball down to him.

Poland managed to pull one back with 12 minutes remaining when Piotr Zielinski executed a clever one-two with Kacper Urbanski, firing a powerful shot past goalkeeper Diogo Costa. However, any hopes of a comeback were dashed when Jan Bednarek inadvertently scored an own goal while attempting to prevent Diogo Jota from reaching a cross from Nuno Mendes.
